🧾 Frequently Asked Questions

My sea moss gel arrived and its warm. Is it okay to consume?

We ship every order via FedEx 2-Day Express or UPS Ground (only to locations where it’s guaranteed to arrive within 2 days). All gels are flash-frozen and shipped with an ice pack to help keep them cool during transit. As long as the package arrives within the 2-day window, it’s perfectly fine—even if it arrives thawed. We’ve tested this in all seasons.

Please be sure to monitor your tracking to ensure it arrives on time. Once delivered, refrigerate or freeze it right away.

If your package is delayed in transit, just let us know—we’ll happily re-ship it for you.

What kind of sea moss do you use?
We use wildcrafted sea moss (Kappaphycus Alvareziis) sourced from St. Lucia. It’s harvested without chemicals and dried naturally in the sun — no bleach, no shortcuts.

Are there added sugars or preservatives?
No. Our unflavored gels contain only sea moss and distilled water. Flavored varieties are made with whole food ingredients and gallberry honey (in select options) and no artificial preservatives.

Can I give this to kids?
Yes, but always check with your child’s healthcare provider first — especially for flavored blends containing spices like cayenne or ingredients like honey.

How long does it last?
3–4 weeks refrigerated, or up to 6 months frozen. We suggest freezing any portion you don’t plan to use within 2 weeks.
