🧾 Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Green and Gold Sea Moss?

In nature sea moss grows in a variety of natural colors. The green variety contains chlorophyll which is not present in gold sea moss. The presence of chlorophyll adds an additional number of benefits on top of the main benefits all colors carry. Gold is sun-bleached. Each color offers foundational sea moss benefits with slightly unique nutrient profiles.

Can I use Green Sea Moss like the other types?

Yes. Just rinse, soak, and blend it into gel. Use it in drinks, food, or skincare — just like gold or purple sea moss.

How should I store it?

Keep dried sea moss in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Once made into gel, store it in the fridge (lasts ~3–4 weeks) or freeze to extend shelf life (up to 1 year).
